6-27-08 UPDATE

I am now in Gillette, Wyoming at the Escapee's rally.  I have walked in a few Country Coach Veranda models and I have to say I am becoming quite impressed.  I have read a lot of the online comments on various group boards, both good and bad.  Keeping them in mind as well as my own concerns here is what I can tell you:

The mechanism is rock solid, the extension and retract are smooth, quick, and solid.  It does not rattle or squeek while driving down the road.  The weight of this mechanism is built into the chassis.  HWH manufacturers the hardware.

Bay access is not much different than a quad slide.  You have to go under the Veranda but I believe the Vernada sits up a bit higher than a slide room, its almost a toss up. Bay storage is the same, you do not loose any.

The glass sliding doors are very heavy and feel like they operate on sealed bearings.  They are much better than I have seen in any house.  Im told they are Hurricane doors.

You really have to be standing on the Country Coach Veranda to understand the benefits.  I was very skeptical myself until I spent some time in a Country Coach Veranda model Wednesday with another couple.  I can see people who dry camp in scenic areas, spend the winters in Yuma, or any open areas will love this model.

The Country Coach Veranda Mt. Rainier floorplan so far is my favorite.  This is a spin off the "Crane Prairie" Allure 45' that has a rear bath and front kitchen.  You can view pictures on my website under "Allure". The galley is on the drivers side, up front, and the sofa is lined up with the sliding doors for an amazing view.  The dinette table can be moved out on the Vernada and left there, I might place a cover over it at night.  With all the glass it really opens up and brightens up the interior.

I will continue to post pictures and my thoughts.  Please keep checking for more Country Coach Veranda pictures.
